CM Launcher comes from Cheetah Mobile, the team behind Clean Master. It claims to be the most lightweight Android launcher available, weighing in at only 1MB.

CM Launcher is a pretty stripped-back launcher for your Android device. It's designed to be lightweight, so you can access your apps and device features faster. After installation, you'll see a new, minimal homescreen, with a few different things. You get a range of CM Tools, which include a Data Usage app and a Power Saver. The latter is useful, especially if you worry about battery life - you can extend it with a single click, which is pretty good.
A 'Booster' also lets you quickly kill memory hogging processes, which you can activate even without unlocking your device. The All Apps tool is very attractive, giving you a useful alphabetically ordered list of the apps you have on your device.
Little customization, but great for saving resources
CM Launcher is also customizable, with a Wallpaper app that is regularly updated with new images for you to use as your background.
If you have a high-end Android device, you might not notice the performance enhancements, but it's still a good alternative launcher. CM Launcher is most useful if your device is struggling - then its resource saving features will be much more worthwhile.
